In them were stored the barrels of wine and brandy (\u201e\u021buica\u201d), the tools used for the vineyards works, and the tools used to process the grapes and the various fruits. Long ago, many warehouses had been placed between the vineyards where they formed real hamlets, surrounded by fences, like a miniature fortresses.\u00a0When the modern times in the hills of the vineyards arrived, the storehouses were moved into households.\u00a0The deposits of the Golesti Museum are made of massive oak beams and have 1-3 rooms.\u00a0Some of them have stone foundations and, more rarely, we find the warehouses with cellars.\u00a0Generally, they have wooden roofs.\u00a0The buried or semi-buried buildings designed for the storage of pots and in which the brandy boiler was installed are called \u201epoverne\u201d or \u201evelni\u021be\u201d.\u00a0The walls were made of stone to reduce the risk of fire.\u00a0The boiler for distilling alcoholic beverages (<em>\u021buica, palinca, rachiu, vinars<\/em>\u00a0etc.) was used by the entire community.\u00a0Containers where the grapes were squeezed, the presses and the barrels are exposed next to the cooper&#8217;s house.\u00a0\u00a0\u201eTeascul\u201d is\u00a0mechanical presses for extracting the grape juice, while a \u201elin\u201d is a very simple tool, where the grapes were smashed by the workers with their feet.\u00a0Depending on the traditions of each ethnographic area, either the virgins or the unmarried boys were allowed to climb in a \u201elin\u201d and crush the grapes.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-3363","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
