PRESS RELEASE<\/strong><\/p>\n Treasures and other valuable objects in a unique exhibition of the Romanian museum community<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The National Network of Romanian Museums, in partnership with the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, proposes to the general public, the community of cultural and creative industries, the political and administrative environment a unique exhibition on the value of cultural heritage and museum collections for society. The exhibition\u00a0“The Museum for you!”<\/strong>\u00a0will take place from\u00a0November 9 to December 31, 2022<\/strong>, at the Tancred B\u0103n\u0103\u021beanu Hall of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, and is configured around a curatorial concept that relates, by analogy with the miracle of life and nature, the stories of dozens of pieces of treasure or heritage from the collections of several museums across the country, in a visual show that cannot be missed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The intention of this exhibition is to build a lasting relationship with the political, administrative, and all kinds of audiences, offering them unique and memorable experiences of knowledge and interaction with museum collections in order to understand their economic, social, cultural and educational values. What you will see and appreciate was the result of an impressive collaborative effort involving the participation of 26 museums of different types and fields: ASTRA National Museum Complex – Sibiu, Moldova National Museum Complex Iasi, National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Zal\u0103u County Museum of History and Art, Casa Mure\u0219enilor Museum – Brasov, The Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania – Cluj-Napoca, ICEM Tulcea – Institute of Eco-Museum Research, Museum of Mountain Banat -Re\u0219i\u021ba, Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilization – Deva, The Art Museum- Brasov, Museum of History – Turda, Vrancea County Museum, Gole\u0219ti Museum, Museum of the Lower Danube – Calarasi, Buz\u0103u County Museum, Maramure\u0219 County Museum of Ethnography and Folk Art, Mure\u0219 County Museum, Teleorman County Museum, National Museum of Geology, Maramure\u0219an Museum – Sighetul-Marma\u021biei, The National Museum of Agriculture Slobozia, National Museum of Maps and Old Books, National Museum of Romanian Literature – Bucharest, George Enescu National Museum, Baia-Mare Art Museum and “Curtea Domneasc\u0103” National Museum Ensemble – T\u00e2rgovi\u0219te.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It is the first “blockbuster” curatorial approach in Romania, born out of the need for museums to be reconsidered by administrative and political authorities and seen as institutions that can substantially change the economic and social dynamics of a community.<\/p>\n This exhibition project is part of the “Museums Meet Museums” cultural brand of the National Network of Romanian Museums and was implemented with the financial support of the National Cultural Fund Administration and the Dr. Gheorghe Telea-Bologa Memorial Centre Association in Sibiu.<\/p>\n The interior architecture project was carried out by Studio Zeppelin.<\/p>\n
