In 2020, the Route of the Open Air Ethnographic Museums in Romania received the recognition of the Ministry of Tourism, being the third cultural-tourist route with national development.<\/p>\n

The Route of the Open Air Ethnographic Museums in Romania aims to jointly promote some objectives of great importance, both at the national and local level. The institutions that are part of this project are custodians of a rich heritage. It is about a true cultural treasure inherited from the ancestors and preserved in our days to speak to Romanians and foreigners about our values and beliefs.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

From this year, 2023, the Gole\u0219ti Viticulture and Horticulture Museum has become an objective of this route, joining the other prominent institutions in Romania that are part of this project: the Maramure\u015f County Council \u2013 the Museum of Ethnography and Folk Art Maramure\u015f, the National Village Museum “Dimitrie Gusti” – Bucharest, ASTRA Museum of Traditional Popular Civilization – Sibiu, Museum of the Maramure\u0219 Village – Sighetu Marma\u021biei, Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania – “Romulus Vuia” National Ethnographic Park – Cluj-Napoca, Wood Art Museum – C\u00e2mpulung Moldovenesc, Oa\u015f Country Museum – Negre\u015fti Oa\u015f – Satu Mare county, the National Museum of Bucovina – Bucovina Village Museum, the “Haszmann Pal” Museum – Cernat – Covasna, the Ban\u0103\u0163ean Village Museum – Timisoara and the Br\u0103nean Village Museum – Bran – Bra\u0219ov county.<\/p>\n

Sunday, April 23, 2023, in Baia Mare, on the occasion of the official opening of the visiting season at the Maramure\u015f Museum of Ethnography and Folk Art, our museum received the official diploma and trophy confirming our status as partners of this route.<\/p>\n

An innovative tourist product is thus made available to the travel agencies in our country and to the visiting public.<\/p>\n
