Biserica cu hramul Sf. Dimitrie cel Nou<\/em><\/strong>, Dr\u0103gu\u0163e\u015fti – Cotmeana,\u00a0 Arge\u015f, 1814<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Monument ecleziastic din lemn, str\u0103mutat de pe un deal din valea Cotmeni\u0163ei, biserica domin\u0103 vatra satului din sec\u0163ia aer liber. Me\u015fterii care au creat acest valoros monument de arhitectur\u0103 \u00een lemn, din zona Arge\u015f, \u015fi-au \u00eensemnat numele pe partea interioar\u0103 a cosoroabei din pridvorul bisericii \u015fi pe peretele exterior al pronaosului. Ei sunt: Marin Mihai \u2013 me\u015fter, T\u0103nase \u2013 me\u015fter, Dumitru \u2013 me\u015fter, Marin \u2013 me\u015fter, Barbu \u2013 me\u015fter, \u015eerban \u2013 me\u015fter, Constandin Crucer \u015fi Enache, Marin dulgheriu, Stanciu<\/em>. De asemenea, inscrip\u0163ionat pe peretele exterior al pronaosului, g\u0103sim \u015fi anul realiz\u0103rii construc\u0163iei:\u00a0 7322 (1814).<\/p>\n

Biserica este \u00een\u0103l\u0163at\u0103 pe o temelie din c\u0103r\u0103mid\u0103, fiind construit\u0103 din b\u00e2rne de lemn de stejar, \u00eembinate la col\u0163uri \u00een coad\u0103 de r\u00e2ndunic\u0103.<\/em> Reg\u0103sim, aici, planul construc\u0163iilor religioase tradi\u0163ionale din perioada \u00eenceputului de secol XIX, respectiv planul dezvoltat pe lungime, de tip nav\u0103, format din: pridvor semideschis, pronaos de dimensiuni mici, naos generos cu bolt\u0103 semicircular\u0103 \u015fi altar, turla, de form\u0103 octogonal\u0103, care ad\u0103poste\u015fte clopotul, fiind situat\u0103 pe pronaos, cu acces din interior. Acoperi\u015ful este lucrat \u00een patru ape, cu col\u0163urile rotunjite, cu \u00eenvelitoare din \u015findril\u0103.<\/p>\n

Accesul \u00een curtea bisericii se face printr-un portic dublu, cu patru st\u00e2lpi decora\u0163i cu motive geometrice ce sus\u0163in un acoperi\u015f \u00een patru ape. Poarta \u00een z\u0103brele este ornamentat\u0103 cu decora\u0163ii geometrice sub form\u0103 de cruci. Gardul, pu\u0163in \u00eenalt, este din b\u00e2rne (la\u0163i) lungi din lemn de stejar, fixate \u00een st\u00e2lpi verticali (babe). \u00cen curtea bisericii,\u00a0 se afl\u0103 cruci din lemn, executate dup\u0103 modelele \u00eent\u00e2lnite \u00een zon\u0103.<\/p>\n

Monumentul impresioneaz\u0103 prin decorurile exterioare: un br\u00e2u median lucrat \u00een torsad\u0103 care \u00eenconjoar\u0103, la jum\u0103tatea pere\u0163ilor, \u00eentreaga construc\u0163ie, st\u00e2lpii pridvorului lucra\u0163i \u00een aceea\u015fi tehnic\u0103 a torsadei, ornamenta\u0163i \u00een registrul superior cu capiteluri \u2013 totul lucrat \u00een lemn.<\/p>\n

\u00cen interior, remarc\u0103m iconostasul \u015fi mobilierul, piese originale transferate odat\u0103 cu monumentul, dar \u015fi inventarul de cult cre\u015ftin ortodox, apar\u0163in\u00e2nd secolelor XIX-XX, donat de parohul Bisericii din Valea Mare-Arge\u015f.<\/p>\n<\/div>
