Creative Workshops

July

• July 3-7 – Art of Sewing;

• July 3-7 – Decorative Objects from Jute – coordinated by volunteer teachers Elena Luca, Mihaela Ionescu, and Remus Ionescu;

• July 5-8 – Characters from Romanian Fairy Tales – coordinator: Robert Ciobanu, visual artist.
Materials needed: acrylic paints; thin brushes; fine-tipped permanent marker; frame with glass (size A4); white paper (A4);

• July 10-14 – Let’s Crochet Together
Materials needed: crochet hooks size 2, 3, 4, or 5; crochet thread;

• July 10-14 – Wood Painting
Materials needed: primed wood panel (size A4), round-tipped brushes (sizes 2, 4, 6, 8), 2B pencil, tempera watercolors in tubes, palette, water container, compass;

• July 17-21 – Let̕ s have fun and let̕ s learning;

• July 17-21 – Chess Camp
Materials needed: chess set (board, pieces);

• July 24-29 – Little Cooks for a Week
Notes: Registration limited to 25 participants.

August

• July 31 – August 4 – Wooden Games
Notes: Registration limited to 15 participants;

• August 7-11 – Good Manners;

• August 21-26 – Doll Making
Materials needed: medium-weight knitting yarn (5mm), in at least 2 colors.

General Notes:

Registration for workshops is mandatory at the museum’s secretariat, at the phone number 0248266364.
Registration hours: Monday-Thursday: 9:00-15:30; Friday: 9:00-13:30.

Will be enrolld school children (minimum 5 years old).

Participation fees:
5 lei/day – museum entrance ticket + 5 lei/day – creative workshop ticket
Total: 10 lei/day/child

Schedule: 8:30-16:00.
Children are expected between 8:30 and 10:00 to start the activities.
In addition to the creative workshops, other activities will take place: visits to various museum exhibits, interactive games, and creative games. Children can bring outdoor toys: ball, badminton set, jump rope, etc.

Our recommendation: provide your children with an adequate amount of liquids (water, tea, etc.) and a snack.
