Between May and July 2023, the Golești Museum participates, together with the Câmpulung Municipal Museum and the “Teohari Antonescu” Giurgiu County Museum, in an exhibition dedicated to the folk costume from the Vlașca ethnographic area. The exhibition can be viewed in the Ethnography and Folk Art Section of the museum in Câmpulung. Women’s and men’s folk costumes, interior fabrics, ceramic and wood pieces, well-preserved wonders in the dowry chest of the historical region of Muntenia can be admired in the exhibition “From the treasures of the Vlașca ethnographic area”.
