For both Romanians and Greeks, the grape harvest is not merely a task but a true celebration, featuring rituals of thanksgiving, dancing, music, and feasting.
The Golești Museum invites you on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM, to a performance of traditional Greek music and dance marking the start of the grape harvest—an occasion known in the Romanian folk calendar as „Cârstovul Viilor”.
The performance is presented by the „St. George” Kalivion Cultural Ensemble from Lamia, Greece.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Golești Museum for the finest „Cârstovul Viilor” celebration.
