Almost two decades ago, one of the most beautiful celebrations of Argeș gratitude began at the Golești Museum. People who have honorably carried the name of Argeș and Muscel in the country and in the world received the titles of Son or Daughter of Argeș or Honorary Citizen of Argeș County.
Today, Argeș calls them home again, at the Golești Museum!
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00, the Argeș County Council and the Golești Museum of Viticulture and Fruit Growing invite all those distinguished over the years with the titles of Son/Daughter of Argeș or Honorary Citizen of Argeș County to a soul-warming meeting.
Dear Sons/Daughters and Honorary Citizens of Argeș, through work, talent and devotion you have built the reputation of this county. We are waiting for you at the Golești Museum on October 3rd, not for a simple ceremony, but to tell you again, looking you in the eye: Thank you! Argeș has not forgotten its values!
