On Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., at the Goleștilor Manor, will be inaugurated, the literary gathering „Poetry at the Manor” („Poezie la conac”) – a space dedicated to the meeting of poets, critics, readers and literature lovers. The project aims to bring poetry closer to the public, in a historical and inspirational setting, through poetic recitals and dialogues on current literary themes.
„Poetry at the Manor”(„Poezie la conac”) will have a frequency of four meetings per year, consolidating a constant calendar for the literary community and for the general public interested in contemporary poetry and tradition. Each edition will include:
-Poetic recitals held by established authors and emerging voices.
-Moderated thematic discussions on topics of aesthetics, editorial trends and dialogue between generations.
-Questions and answers sessions with the public, designed to stimulate participation and the exchange of ideas.
The opening edition, on July 11, therefore marks the start of a cultural project that aims to bring together the creative energy of poets with the heritage of the Golești Manor, transforming the space into a living stage for the spoken word and critical reflection. Will be present poets and cultural personalities such as: Magda Grigore, Adrian Cioroianu, Mircea Bârsilă, Lidia Zadeh, Catia Maxim, Gabriela Tănase, Virgil Diaconu, Cătălin Dumitru, Nicoleta Popa, Mihai Gălățanu, etc.
Therefore, „Poetry at the Manor” is a literary gathering that aims to create a friendly and demanding setting, in equal measure, for the encounter with poetry: readings, debates, book recommendations and connections between authors and the public. With four annual editions, the project relies on curatorial quality, diversity of voices and open dialogue.
