On Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the Golești Viticulture and Fruit Growing Museum, took place the opening of the exhibition of the International Painting Contest for Children. The 9th edition, this contest is organized by the Argeș County Council, Golești Viticulture and Fruit Growing Museum and the “Color and Dream” Painting School, from Corbeni, Argeș, coordinated by Prof. Elena Stoica. The theme of this year’s edition was “Traditional musical instruments from my country”. Over 900 painting, from 28 countries were registrated, but only 92 of the best works were selected by the jury and were exhibited. The great prize at the international section was won by Lam Wai Yin Vivien, 9 years old, from Hong Kong, China, and at the Romanian section the best was Prodan Maria Stefania´s painting, 9 years old. The exhibition will be open to the public from November 2019 to May 2020.
