The National Culture Day was celebrated yesterday, January 15, 2025, at the Golești Museum in a vibrant atmosphere where visual arts and music intertwined in a remarkable multidisciplinary event. On this occasion, was inaugurated the exhibition “Days at Golești. Ivanovici Workshop”, showcasing works by talented young artists—students of teacher and artist Marius Ivanovici. Drawings, architectural studies, and still-life interpretations, crafted with passion and curiosity, were presented to the public, paying homage to the creativity and teachings of Professor Ivanovici’s art workshop.

In addition to the students’ works, attendees had the opportunity to admire a series of paintings by Marius Ivanovici. Geometric forms, vibrant colors, and the refined technique of gold leaf, interacting with light to evoke emotions and invite viewers to discover new meanings in color and design, captivated the attention and imagination of those present.

Among the first visitors were children from Hârsești, guided with dedication by Mrs. Loredana Costache, the enthusiastic director of the local Cultural Center. During the event, they performed an impressive artistic program, including vocal music, instrumental performances, and poetry inspired by the timeless work of Mihai Eminescu. Students from the external instrumental performance section of the Pitești School of Arts and Crafts paid artistic homage in their grandparents’ traditional costumes from Hârsești, moving the audience with their dedication and curiosity in a museum rich with history and meaning.

The event featured speeches from Mr. Narcis Iustin Dejanu, manager of the Golești Museum; Mr. Marius Ivanovici, teacher at the “Dinu Lipatti” High School of Arts in Pitești; and Mr. Gerard Călin, Open-Air Section Head and curator of the exhibition. Each contributed to the success of a day that celebrated both national culture and the connection between tradition and modernity in art.
