The Golești Museum celebrates Romania’s National Day by opening an exhibition of folk costumes from all regions of the country.

We invite you today, November 29, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to the opening of the exhibition “Romanian Folk Costume. Grandeur and Color”. Members of the “Mihai Viteazu” Veterans Choir from Pitești will be with us to commemorate the act of the Great Union of 1918 and to delight us with a recital of patriotic songs.

Also today, creative workshops for children will be held, coordinated by folk craftswoman Elena Nencov, in which dolls dressed in our wonderful traditional costumes will be made.
