Between February and April 2024, at the headquarters of the Section of Ethnography and Folk Art of the Câmpulung Municipal Museum, can be visited the exhibition In the Grandparents’ Yard. Children and adults can admire the 46 paintings that were selected and awarded by the expert jury of the International Painting Competition of the Golești Museum. In the 2023 edition of the competition, 380 works were entered, from 17 countries.
The Câmpulung Museum is the first destination, apart from Golești, where children’s works will be exhibited this year. They will travel to Romania, to museums and schools, bringing with them stories from all over the world, about non-speaking best friends and about the privileged space of childhood, that of the grandparents’ house, where love is unconditional and dreams are fantastic.
