Monday, June 30, 2025, the semantron workshop will begin at the Golești Museum, with the blessing of IPS Calinic and with the involvement of the Catechesis and Youth Activities Office of the Archdiocese of Argeș and Muscel. Our guide will be the priest Octavian Duminică, from the Parish of Saint Nicholas and Saint Nectarius – Pitești.
Octavian Duminică, born on June 18, 1975, in Pitești, a graduate of the St. Neagoe Basarab Theological Seminary and the Faculty of Theology in Pitești, has carried out numerous catechetical activities within the Pitești Archdiocese over the years. Among these, we mention:
-Christ shared with children
-National competition of social-philanthropic education mini-projects The child learns the love of Christ
-Contest show The Joy of Being a Christian
-International Byzantine Music Festival – Pitești, etc.
This project, held at the Golești Museum and now in its second edition, consists of sharing the secret of the ancient rhythm of toacă with children from Argeș County.
